The Resurrection of the Christ usually refers to the movie Risen.
The story is told from the perspective of a Roman tribune named Clavius.
After the crucifixion of Jesus, Clavius is ordered by Pontius Pilate to investigate rumors that Jesus’ body has disappeared.

Clavius interrogates witnesses, questions disciples, and tries to stop what he believes could be a rebellion. But as he follows the clues, he encounters something unexpected—faith, doubt, and eventually the possibility that Jesus has truly risen from the dead.
In June 2016, writer Randall Wallace stated that he and Mel Gibson had begun work on a sequel to The Passion of the Christ (2004) which will focus on the resurrection of Jesus and the events surrounding the resurrection.[3] In 2018, Jim Caviezel said that Gibson had sent him the third draft of the screenplay, announcing his intentions to reprise his role as Jesus Christ.[4][5] In 2020, Caviezel said that it would be titled The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection and predicted “It’s going to be the biggest film in world history”.[6]
The story explores belief vs. logic, and how one man’s search for truth changes his entire life.
